About this listen

"Who Is The Tigerman?" although part of the Harry Black thriller series, can be enjoyed as a complete, stand-alone audiobook. It features a hitman who has to perform a simple assassination, and just after taking his shot, he expects to see his target dead on the pavement.

However, he is shocked to see that there are actually two bodies lying on the pavement. One is a newspaper boss, the other a prominent politician.

The hit-man makes his escape from the scene but is then catapulted into a series of events that make him realise, that forces beyond his control are at play.

Who is it that wants to discredit him so badly, and ultimately see him killed?

He has to use every ounce of his cunning to stay ahead of his invisible foe, not to mention the police.

In the meantime, Detective Harry Black is drawn into the equation. He discovers a quagmire of intrigue, blackmail, and corruption at the highest levels of government, much of which is pointing towards a very senior politician, not to mention his wife and her string of lovers!

As further events take place, is it actually possible that Harry and the hit-man might have to work together?

His investigation eventually forces him into a dramatic face-to-face encounter at a prestigious building. But with whom? The final moments of this edge-of-the-seat audiobook will leave you gasping for breath!

Who Is The Tigerman? is narrated by Antony King. He has a beautifully resonant, luxurious voice that is easy, but interesting to listen to. A voice that fully compliments this Harry Black thriller. Enjoy!

A thrilling roller-coaster ride!

Fast-paced crime thriller with plenty of political intrigue. The story is full of twists and turns, taking the listener on a journey from London to Malaysia, Wales and Spain. The vivid narrative plays out like a film as you follow DI Harry Black's complicated investigation. Well-rounded characters with back stories that never once distract from the central protagonists' plot lines. The excellent narration perfectly complements the writing, and I was instantly transported from the very first word. Well done, Gordon Warden and Antony King! As soon as I finished the audiobook I treated myself to the first book in the DI Harry Black series.
