About this listen
What do you do when the Angel of Death asks you to steal from one of the most powerful covens in the world?
You leave the celestial realm, give up your wings, and sneak into the coven's lair while they're all partying it up in New Orleans.
Or, at least that was Maddox Calder's plan. Until a curse leaves him dazed - and in the path of an oncoming car.
Killian Wade loathes being a rare, male witch. Especially one who can't control his power. After the death of his mentor - at his hand - Killian prefers to hide away at his Brighton estate. It's safer for everyone. But he's been summoned to New Orleans, and the last witch to refuse such an invitation was never heard from again.
Hit by a curse after only half a glass of wine, Killian flees, but finds a handsome, broken man in the street, begging for help. Something about Maddox calls to him, and though he's a danger to everyone he meets, he can't leave Mad to die.
Cursed to face their greatest fears, the two men know only one thing.
They're stronger together than they are apart.
Wicked Omens is the 5th book in the Cursed Coven series and is a male/male romance.
On Samhain night the covens gather under a Harvest Moon.
It’s a time for pure magic.
A night of unbridled witchcraft.
A celebration of all they are and all they will be.
But there’s a dark force lurking, hiding, plotting. A rogue determined to curse every witch at the gathering. When she does, no one escapes.
Face their darkest fear.
Survive or die.
These are the stories of thirteen witches cursed at the one place they should have found sanctuary.

Fantastic PNR & Narration🎧 Bewitching & Devine!
I loved everything about this book, from Patricia D. Eddy’s wonderful writing style to the interesting & imaginative storylines and characters she created to Shane East and Greg Boudreaux’s fantastic narration. This book is a stand-alone in the “Curse Coven” series. In addition to the witches there are other supernatural beings, which gave the story and the characters even more depth. Killian is a witch who has had a tragic past, he does not trust his own magic or power and wears a band to suppress it. He has been living a reclusive life and is not sure who or why he was summoned and transported to New Orleans. The coven in New Orleans is having a gathering for Samhain night under the Harvest Moon and witches from all over are attending. Azrael sends Maddox Calder, an angel living in the celestial realm to Earth to retrieve an item in the witch’s coven house, it is property they should not have. He is successful in retrieving it but as he is leaving all hell breaks loose, one of the witches cast a powerful spell on everyone, it sent him into a daze and then he found himself severely injured. Killian is also injured and the band suppressing his magic is gone, not wanting his magic to go astray he flees and comes upon the injured Maddox who asks for help but Killian says he has to go, that it is for his own good. I loved how everything plays out in this book, it is so well plotted and there is never a dull moment with plenty of drama, action, thrilling & suspenseful moments, heartfelt ones and a great paranormal romance. Patricia D. Eddy, thank you for this amazing story.
Shane East and Greg Boudreaux are fantastic narrators and voice artists. They did an amazing job portraying the characters and bringing them to life, giving each their own voice and personality. You could hear how much heart they put into their work as they capture the characters emotions and project into their performance. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank your for this great listen🎧

Fun, suspenseful & hot!
Patricia D Eddy for me is a phenomenal romantic suspense author. I have enjoyed her Away From the Keyboard series, so when the opportunity to listen to this novella came up, I jumped on it! You can’t go wrong with a paranormal with witches, angels and vampires, right? Killian is a powerful witch, so powerful he has trouble controlling himself. He has had a terrible experience, causing the death of the man he loved and has not forgiven himself. Now ten years later, he is summoned to New Orleans and meets Maddox. Maddox is half human, half angel who was visiting his twin in human world. Both are hit by the same curse, and while still looking to return their homes, there is an undeniable attraction between the two. Will they be able to figure a way to be together? Will they survive the wrath of evilness that follows them? It’s romantic suspense with a paranormal twist! Narrated by the talents of Shane East and Greg Bordeaux, it’s so easy to get lost in this novella!
