About this listen
No strings attached? We were wrong. So wrong.
Layla moved to Baltimore in search of a fresh start. After too many years in a lackluster relationship, she’s ready to embrace her wild side. Casual is her new middle name and the last thing she wants or needs is a serious relationship.
Finn and his best friend, Miguel are ALL IN on showing Layla a good time. After all, neither one of them is looking for love either. Or so they think.
Until Finn falls for Layla, and Miguel falls for Finn, and Layla falls for...both men. Then it’s a wild side freefall as the three lovers try to make one plus one plus one equal the perfect match.

A Smoking Hot Trifecta! Fantastic Story & Listen🎧
Mari Carr pens another fabulous novel set in her “Wilder Irish” series, and she turns up the heat for this trifecta of a romance, between Finn, Miguel and Layla. After breaking off a long-term relationship, Layla left Philadelphia and her overprotective Moretti brothers to start over in Baltimore, the place she spent her younger years. She purchased and runs a coffee shop, The Daily Grind, which is Finn’s favorite place. So when he stops in, it surprised him to see his childhood friend LJ, Layla Jean, and the two reconnect and catch up. All grown up and gorgeous, Finn is attracted to her, but after hearing her out, realizes she is not looking to get into any type of relationship. Miguel, a police officer and Finn’s friend, is Bi and his attraction to Finn is more than just friends, but he knows Finn is straight and he would not jeopardize their friendship by making a move on him. Should he tell him how he feels about him? It was discouraging to hear that Finn was interested in an old friend who returned to town, so he was about to give up hope that anything more would come out of their friendship. Layla was closing her shop when an armed robber comes in demanding money, she calls the police after he leaves and it was Miguel who responds to shop. Layla and Miguel hit it off too, and they make plans to see each other again. Both Finn and Miguel know she is not looking for a relationship and that she just wants to play the field and explore. When the two realize they both not only know Layla, but are interested in her, all bets are off and it was not Miguel who had to make the first more on Finn, either. I loved how everything played out in this smoking hot MMF romance, the writing, plot and world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. It was great to see and hear more worlds of wisdom from PopPop, also great to see some characters from earlier books and other series. Mari Carr, thank you for another wonderfully entertaining story.
🎧📚🎧 And for amazing narration and lineup of talent, Lee Daniels, Connor Brown and Oliver Highpoint were the perfect cast to bring these characters and story to life. They understood the characters they were portraying, their character voices were fitting, sounding believable and just as I imagined they would sound. You could hear how much heart they put into their performance as they capture all the characters’ emotions and have you feeling them all. These talented and versatile voice artists are entertaining storyteller and their narration enhances this already fantastic story to another level. Thank you for another fabulous listen.

Good story.
This has been a good listen, well performed by Lee Daniels, Connor Brown and Oliver Highpoint. I did struggle at times, with the enunciation of the actor portraying Finn, but he is also very expressive and has a lovely tone to his voice. The gradual coming together of these three is lovely. You certainly find yourself rooting for their HEA 💖💖💖💖

Fun! Fun! Fun!
What happens when the Collins course leads to more than just one love of your life? This is what Finn is faced with. Layla has just come off of a long term relationship and is looking to have some fun and explore her wild side. Always attracted to Finn, this sounded like a good option for her. But when she is in trouble, and Miguel comes to her rescue, she has a bit of a problem. Now two men have caught her eye. Miguel has a thing for Finn, and after meeting Layla, his attraction to her is palpable. The men and Layla come up with a plan. Enjoy each other for week. But will one week be enough? When danger lurks once again, feelings are tested, and where does it all end? Mari Carr always makes me smile with her stories. This series is so much fun, and the best is the sage advice from Finn's grandfather. He does always do a bit of meddling, but he does always know best. This is a fun and spicy listen and a great addition to the series.
Lee Daniels, Connor Brown and Oliver Highpoint bring this throuple alive! I so enjoy good narration, and this team is perfectly cast for these characters. Each having the perfect sound for their personalities and giving just enough angst and spice to keep me engaged. And Connor Brown keeps Pop-pop going from book to book with his Irish brogue. Loved it!
