Maddix Ripley is a natural born killer. Or at least that’s how she sees it. Angelo Deluca wasn’t something Maddix was looking for, but he just might be something she needs. She never believed that she was made to be someone’s other half, but Angelo has her wishing she was. They’re both broken and jaded, which leaves Maddix questioning their love and her sanity. But when one of her vigilante stunts goes horribly wrong and she’s forced to call him for help, she is left with a choice. Does she stay with the people she loves and risk their lives? Or does she leave, leaving her heart behind as well?

Favorite of the 3 so far!
I listened to these out of order since the second book was the only one available on Audible at first, but in case that happens to you as well don’t worry because it really doesn’t mess anything up since the books focus on different characters and their back stories, although I would still suggest going in order if you can. I really love the characters the author has created for this series! Each book has more action than the last & personally, I’m quite partial to Maddox because she’s a badass & really funny, so there is even more witty humor in this book! I personally like it when a narrator does different character voices because I think it really brings the story to life! The author definitely gets better and better as they go with this series so I can’t wait to read the next installment!
