About this listen
Trouble at Hungry Horse, audiobook four: Minnie Crockwell, recreational vehicle enthusiast and traveler, no sooner leaves Glacier National Park than she encounters some trouble with her RV and tow car, necessitating an unexpected layover at a campground in the nearby small town of Hungry Horse, Montana.
Within an hour of checking in, however, a gunshot rings out, and Minnie finds herself on her hands and knees hiding under a park bench. But the shot wasn’t meant for her. In fact, no one can even find the shooter or a gun.
It seems everyone hated the victim. Everyone! The question is who hated the victim enough to kill her? Minnie just wants to get her RV fixed and get on the road, but she soon finds herself immersed in the repercussions of a decades-old tragedy.
Trouble at Snake and Clearwater, audiobook five: Minnie Crockwell receives a call from her niece, Tiffany, who has recently moved from Arizona to Washington to be with her boyfriend. Lonely in a new area, Tiffany asks Aunt Minnie to stop by for a visit.
Finding a wonderful RV site with a panoramic view of the Snake River, Minnie settles in for a short, relaxing visit with her niece. Binoculars in hand, she admires the scenery - from the golden hills across the river to the fishermen trolling in boats. The beauty of the scene is marred though, when one fisherman disappears from his boat right before her eyes.
Trouble in Florence, audiobook six: Minnie Crockwell is heading south to warmer climates by way of Highway 101, also known as the Oregon Coast Highway and Pacific Highway. She stops for a few days in the quaint little seaside town of Florence, Oregon, for a stay at the Tuscan Sands RV Park.
Minnie wastes no time heading to the beach for a walk with Ben. What could be more relaxing than walking on a nearly deserted Pacific Northwest beach?
But the dangerous and erratic driver of a blue Jeep, the fierce coastal storm that sweeps through overnight, a barking dog that paws at the sand, and the discovery of a body partially submerged beneath a log on the beach all conspire to take the "relax" out of relaxing.
Against her will and Ben’s words of caution, Minnie cannot help but try to solve the mystery of the trouble in Florence.

LOVE this series
Trouble at Hungry Horse was brilliant, the victim being a much loathed woman and the murderer was finally revealed as ..... (nope, not saying but it was very sad) and Trouble at Snake and Clearwayer had an equally sad ending. Trouble in Florence was great but again with the sad ending.,.
So actually now I'm reconsidering the four stars as I don't like to be sad BUT they're good so the stars stay.
These stories are excellent, although sometimes I think Minnie should just keep her head down and let people get on with their lives.
The narration is spot on, love it carry on please Michelle.

cozy mysteries
I believe it is better to get the box set (if you can). This way you do not have to buy the next book and just move onto the next in the series.
My problem with this series is I found that they were short and would have prefered them to be a bit more longer.
I did like the main character and her friendly ghost.
It is a clean read so it is suitable for all.

Very enjoyable cosy mystery
Ok. Firstly I’d like to thank the author for keeping me sane over these past few weeks.
I’ve got a pup, she’s a rescue from Macedonia. She came to me 5 weeks ago at 5 months old and had never been alone. She was part of a group of over 60 other puppies so when she came to my home with just 3 other people she was lonely and very anxious.
She couldn’t leave the house for the first two weeks as her immune system was weak from travelling and she was destructive so couldn’t be left alone... not even of a night time 😬
I was going absolutely out of my mind and unbelievably bored so had to think of a solution to keep my mind occupied and this was it.
I pretty much inhaled the first 7 stories when I was alone with the new pup and considering how tired I was I remember each story so that to me proves how well the stories were written.
Minnie is a breath of fresh air I mean who even would consider a camper van detective? It’s brilliant.
She’s meddling, nosy and honest. The kind of person who you can view as “real” she pokes her nose in everywhere and though accidents or figuring out, she finds the culprit.
I love the story unfolding between Minnie and Ben. I’m really invested in how that is going to turn out for them or if anything could.
So many questions.
I love the twists and turns, I love how it’s wrote and I love how the narrator sounds too.
I can’t get enough.
Even my pup loves these stories now.

I like everything about this boxset: I like Minnie and Ben and their adventures and interactions, I like the stories and the plots, and I like the spot-on narration by Michelle Babb.

Such a comforting listen
This series just keeps getting more and more developed - I wouldn't read them as a standalone they really should be listened to in order as the characters keep coming into their own and feed up other stories.
So far book 6 is my favourite - it just captured everything perfectly.
The narration by Michelle Babb so suits this type of listen - quirky and engaging.
I was given a free copy but the review is entirely my own.
