Summary
What do our ancestral scholars have to say to us today? In a series of original essays, best-selling author Dr. Wayne W. Dyer presents the writings, poems, and teachings of some of the greatest thinkers of the past 25 centuries. Dr. Dyer explains the meaning and context of each, as well as how each lesson can be applied to our modern lives. The selections include 13th-century monk St. Francis of Assisi on the power of prayer, Mother Teresa on the importance of action, and Jesus, Buddha, Dickinson, Emerson, Michelangelo, Whitman, and others on a variety of subjects, including, solitude, time, and passion.

Wisdom of the ages.
As always, Dyer delivers another wise and inspiring book. His wisdom and interpretation of historical figures' sayings reveals more than just the words themselves but a deep understanding. My only criticism is that this audio book was too short.
