About this listen
World-famous (and now retired) photographer Jenvieve Adams has a debt to repay - and a soft spot for modern witches who have lost their way. Or so she thinks, until they actually show up.
Jennie is the newest guide for WitchLight, and her first two students are about to arrive. One is an obsessive psychologist with hidden layers under her repressed exterior. The other is a grown-up juvenile delinquent with a passion for words and a kick-ass biscuit recipe. Can Jennie help unlock their hearts?

Really enjoyable
I haven’t even finished it yet and I wanted to a review. I’ve had this on longer than any other audio books in terms of continuous listening!
Really easy to listen to and enjoyable.

I didn't finish
If I had paid for this, I would return it for a refund. The story sounded like something I would enjoy, and it wasn't dreadful, but it also wasn't good. The characters were a mash-up of tropes that wouldn't work together and the whole thing felt incredibly inelegant. The narration really wasn't good either - again, like the writing, it was technically proficient, but just not good. I wouldn't want to read anything else by this author or listen to anything else by this narrator.

Very enjoyable
Having enjoyed Debora Geary's Modern Witch series, I decided to give the Witch Light Trilogy a try. I thoroughly enjoyed the story. It might just be the best Geary book I've read so far. The characters are well written and the plot moves along at a nice pace. There is plenty of light-hearted fun but also substance. My only complaint is that I prefer the narrations from Martha Harmon Pardee (who reads the Modern Witch series). There's nothing wrong with Madeleine Lambert's reading, and she did an excellent job with some of the characters, but perhaps because I started with Pardee, some of the characters just didn't sound right the way Lambert read them.

Oh dear
I was "read to" rather than "acted out". A story that could have been better by having a more fluid voice actress. Lovely tone.

A heartfelt story
This story had both your heart and mind thinking. It had lots of twists and pure magic turning on the feeling that make you yearn for good thoughts and love. Thank you for this special feelings that only some stories can bring.

Pleasant
A little saccharine and artificial. Yes I know it’s fantasy but I still felt it was too much icing and not enough cake.
But it’s a pleasant, non-threatening read, happy endings guaranteed.

Parole…should never have been released!
Boring, boring, boring…don’t do it, unless you are desperate, and even then, honestly reconsider.

Too sappy
I don’t know why I finished this book. It’s too sappy and kinda boring. Started off with some promise but then my interest waned.
