Disappointed

I am usually a fan of Anthony Horowitz but I am deeply disappointed by this book - so much so I gave up very early into it. I feel I wasted a credit on this one.

excellent pace, good writing

very listenable. intriguing from the very start, with lots of the familiar and fun bond tropes. some seems were drawn extremely vividly - I could imagine a film playing out in my mind, so clear were the description of the surroundings and the sense of danger.

Pure Bond .

Fantastic book . Real Fleming Bond credit to Anthony Horowitz as it kept me enthralled from the minute I started right to the end . Will look forward(hopefully)to the next instalment!

Very average

Thin story, OK performance. Not sure now whether his stories (apart from Magpie Murders) translate well to audio. Having said that, the problem here is a poor plot (that started with promise) and lacked the bite of both Fleming and other Bond authors. Steer clear and stick with the originals on audio that are excellent.

Average at best

Feel a bit let down as being a big bond fan and having all of them on auidable I was excited to hear the new adventure.

as others have said seems to start very slow and struggles to get going. also is it only me or does the big climax seemed rushed and ends abruptly?

The last two A Horowitz seemed to have been much better than this unfortunately.

Forgot this wasn’t written by Ian Fleming himself

Absolutely great story, perfect James Bond written in a style eerily close to Fleming himself. If you like the original books, you’ll love this.

The Best Bond from Horowitz Yet!

Horowitz has discovered how to think and write like Fleming. The pace of the story, the detail and the feel are of a classic Fleming Bond story.

Classic Bond

An excellent addition to the classic canon. Leading on from Fleming's final installment, With a Mind to Kill respectfully continues where Fleming, alas, could not.
