Summary

A brand new ship. A brand new crew. What could possibly go wrong?

When Ishmael takes a crew of academy cadets into the Toe Holds, he's unprepared for the level of trouble green hands can get into.

Meanwhile, their academy liaison discovers what can go wrong when you learn the wrong lessons and try to teach the wrong students.

Will they all make it back to the academy before somebody accidentally takes a short walk out the airlock without a suit?

another fantastic Ishmael tale

so many new faces and stories and new situations for the regular crews too, I'm intrigued and impatient to get to the next instalment. if the previous episodes where on old media like cassette tapes I would have worn them out already. I enjoy them every time I hear them . excellent narration as always.

First Class

If you know Nathan Lowell's earlier solar clipper books then you know what to look forward to with Working Class. More importantly it does it well, with the ship finally underway it feels like Ishmael and the series are getting back on an even keel.

The narration is more than up to the standard of the other books. I know some people have issues with Jeffrey Kafer (including me when I first started the series) but you can't fault his performance technically speaking and by now he has become Ishmael to the point that I hear his voice when I read the print versions!
