*

Whish the chapters were named and in line with the narration. A bit confusing when you're at chapter x on the chapters section and the narrator starts 'chapter y' which is a few chapters behind for example
Otherwise I enjoyed the audio book. Props to the narrator too.

An OK listen

I'd probably recommend it, but it's nowhere near as good as the First World War one. Interesting nonetheless

Difficult to listen to

I love the "..... for dummies" series of books and own quite a few. As a ready reference, they are great - dip in and out as you need, or read through from the start. They are graphically very engaging, and I think this is the problem. That doesn't translate very well to audio. Where the various sections of text work on paper, in audio it just comes across as disjointed. Nicely read, but the content just doesn't flow I'm afraid.
