Added to Netflix
Watched the series, so got the the book. It adds a little more weird moments. Yet as the tv adaptation had other story lines running through. I thought the book might elaborate. They weren’t even mentioned. Good read

terrific narration
The narration was just spot on for this book. Such a difference listening to a book from the side of the "bad guy". I had already watched the Netflix adaptation of this, and it was pretty close! didn't ruin the experience knowing what happened, so if you like the show I would recommend reading the book. I look forward to reading the next in the series.

“The worst thing about books is that they end”
Even started listening to this in secret at my desk while at work because I just had to know how it would all turn out. Some how, despite his actions, I found myself on Joe’s side all the way through because Beck is just an irritating, self absorbed attention seeker and all round manipulating pain in the arse. The narrators voice is incredibly soothing and sexy. Far and away the best narrator I’ve heard yet and I’ve listened to a LOT of books on audible. “The worst thing about books is that they end” Definitely true of this book.

Good. Disturbing. Cannot recommend it.
Would you try another book written by Caroline Kepnes or narrated by Santino Fontana?
Yes
What was one of the most memorable moments of You?
The end
What about Santino Fontana’s performance did you like?
Making the character real.
Did You inspire you to do anything?
No way
Any additional comments?
I purchased this audiobook following recommendations in audible. It is the kind of book I despise -mostly a monologue of a guy and its thoughts-, an obsession in words imploring me to just close the book or stop the audio, and still, I kept forward, and finished it, and well, kind of enjoyed it without enjoying its darkness at all. It is a very good book, but a book that I feel as endured, and which I can hardly recommend, if only by how disturbing it is. BUT it is still very interesting, and while all the characters but the main one are just shallow descriptions, and the main one is completely outbounds, it feels -too badly- real.
