"A man is walking down a street when he falls into a hole. The sides are so deep that he can't get out. A doctor passes by and the man in the hole shouts up 'Hey can you help me out?' and the doctor writes out a prescription, throws it down into the hole and moves on. Then a priest comes along and the guy shouts out, 'Father I'm down in this hole, can you help me out?' the priest writes out a prayer, throws it down the hole and moves on. Then a friend walks by. 'Hey Joe, it's me. Can you help me out?' And the friend jumps in the hole. Our guy says 'Are you stupid? Now we're both down here.' The friend says 'Yeah, but I've been in this hole before and I know the way out.'

No miracles here
Would you say that listening to this book was time well-spent? Why or why not?
Yes, as it's short, but it didn't tell me much I didn't already know, or could have easily found out. I thought they might have suggested some inventive options but maybe that's just me clutching at straws. It's more about the current legal situation in the UK
Would you ever listen to anything by Sobaca Limited again?
He has a rather old-fashioned, upper class BBC voice. I like it but it wouldn't be suitable for everything
Could you see You Can Be Debt Free being made into a movie or a TV series? Who would the stars be?
lol
Any additional comments?
I actually found this book a bit depressing rather than uplifting, and not especially helpful. It was even rather condescending... just 'get a better paying job'...? Yeah, right. I'll do that tomorrow.
