About this listen
From the author of the international best seller Go the F--k to Sleep comes a book about the other great parental frustration: getting your little angel to eat something that even vaguely resembles a normal meal. Profane, loving and deeply cathartic, You Have to F--king Eat breaks the code of child-rearing silence, giving new, old, grand- and expectant parents a much-needed chance to laugh about a universal problem.

How to get your lil darlings to eat
This is a funny take on getting little kids to eat. It is aimed at grownups and should be very relatable for all parents of smal children.

Hilarious and entertaining... And if course Stephen Fry :)
I have always enjoyed the simplicity and genius that is combined in children's literature and rhyme and with this (and Mansbach's other, no less excellent release) there is finally an edition for adults as well. What swayed me to purchase this release was the added joy of Stephen Fry as the narrator. Excellent audio book, very entertaining. I can recommend this to anyone who has a good sense of humour and is not easily offended. Great comedy which I think new and unsuspecting parents may particularly appreciate, however even without having kids and the experiences that go along with them yourself this should still get a chuckle out of you here and there. Highly recommend!

The confusion continues eternal
Well here we are addressing the second great mystery, how does such a metabolically demanding creature survive and grow and develop a brain capable of comprehending quantum physics... without ever apparently taking in sustenance? How can a toddler be awake and screaming loud enough to set off car alarms, powered by half a packet of quavers and some furry raisins they found under the sofa at half two in the afternoon?

Hilarious and true
Hilarious!
And SO true!
Whoever has ever raised a toddler can surely relate!
Whoever hasn’t, probably won’t enjoy it or understand as much.
Enjoy!

Still true.
I'm still feeling these books. My daughter is still going through this stage and it's beyond frustrating, so it's good to laugh about it and realise others have the same thoughts.

Great short story
As title, great short story, one I empathise with having two small fussy eaters myself. Bit of a shame the alternative reading by Samuel L Jackson isn't available in the UK however.

Brilliantly read by Fry
Not as good as it's counterpart "You have to F-ing Eat" but very well read by Stephen Fry and still a good sequel. Very relatable to all parents who have been in similar situations with there own children.

Amusing & accurate experiences with food and a child
A very short story (under 5 mins) but it did make me chuckle to myself as I reflected back on many a situation with food, a child and the desire that they f**king eat!
Love the narration; Stephen Fry is one of my favourites!
Shame you can’t buy the book series as a bundle for the credit used as feels like a lot for 5mins
