Summary
Mafia thugs. Sunken treasure - can British ex-soldier Frankie Armstrong solve the case before he's dragged under?
The former British soldier's wife has rejected him. Desperate and suicidal, he gets just the distraction he needs when the American who saved his life in the Gulf War calls in a favor. But shortly after arriving on Florida's sun-soaked coast, a simple search and rescue mission gets tangled up with lowlifes and murderers.
Joined by a loyal stray dog, Frankie races to stay one step ahead of the police, a rival PI, and a bunch of ruthless mafia henchmen. Then when he learns his old pal left out details of a million-dollar heist, he fears his furry companion is the only one he can trust. Will Frankie's attempt to repay an old debt cost him his life? It looks distinctly likely.
Critic reviews
"You Owe Me is an edge-of-your-seat crime thriller. If you like fast-paced storytelling, high-octane chases, twists and turns that keep you guessing, then you'll love Kerry Costello's gripping tale. This murder mystery grabs you by the throat and doesn't let go. An absolute must read for any lover of crime thrillers." —Joe Mainous Director, University of Kentucky English Department

Superb start.
This is a superb start to what should be a great series starring Frankie Armstrong. a strong character as I discovered when I listened to book 2 in the series 12 months back, not sure why they released in this order. A really enjoyable thriller with sunken treasure being hunted as well as a young diver and an unfaithful wife. Randy McCarten does a great job of the narration and brings the story to life. Highly recommended.
