A book for anyone wanting to accomplish big goals.
Young Athletes' Ultimate Guide to Mental Toughness is truly inspiring. I love that it isn't just a bunch of words to hype you up, but it provides clear, concise, actionable steps to build your skills and mindset to get from where you are now to where you want to be. The author uses personal stories to illustrate the concepts and draws from his experience as a former Navy SEAL, athlete, coach, and father of 3 athletes. I love that he even narrated it himself. This isn't just a book about sports, it's written for the athlete, but I will apply this system to my life as well.

Building a strong mindset
I was involved in many sports as a younger man, so I already knew some of the things it takes to become an athlete. Chad does a great job of covering what it takes to succeed in any sport by first developing mental toughness. I've always said that the proper mindset is the most important factor to succeeding at anything in life that you set your sights on accomplishing. Training and conditioning are two important factors that play a hand in this and are incorporated in this excellent audiobook to use its five-step ideology guide to become a young, successful athlete.

Mental reasons are often why teens quit sports
So many talented athletes but the physical aspects are 50% or less. Mental plays such a key factor and if you're kids are like mine, that aspect is only a focus after highschool. If you agree, this book contains alot of great information and techniques to build confidence and reduce self sabotage especially in the face of massive pressure or a setback. You owe it to your teen to give them the best and this book will help.

Wonderful guide to become a mentally tough
I was a high school softball coach and wished I had this audible book to recommend to my teams. They would have gotten a great deal out of it. Honestly, I could use this advice playing sports or chairing a board meeting. Mental toughness is a strength worth pursuing and this book is an amazing resource for you.
I thought the narration could have been stronger is certain places. All in all, this is an excellent book and that does not take away from the outstanding comprehensive guide.

Essential read for all building mental toughness
This is a true gem; I loved this audiobook and a going to re-listen to it with my kids the next time we have a road trip. This audiobook, focused on athletes and excelling in athletics, is full of principles that can and should be applied to all aspects of life. Developing mental toughness is an invaluable life skill; the sooner we learn it, the further we will go. It is so important to teach our kids that determination and discipline will lead to mental toughness, and often mental toughness is the difference between being average and exceptional. I LOVE that the author covers the mindset that failure is a step to success and achieving your goals. This is a great audiobook that will motivate you to dig deep, persevere, and emerge triumphant in whatever you are doing ( on or off the field).
