• 245 - Liverpool vs AFC Bournemouth: Julian Araujo Special
    Sep 20 2024
Mexico international Julián Araujo arrived at AFC Bournemouth from Barcelona in the summer, and has featured in every single Cherries game this season. Keen to immerse himself in the local environment, he wasted no time in checking out what is in and around Dean Court, and amid the renovation of the Queens Park Hotel, he popped in to say hello. So we tried to convince him to get his hands dirty and paint with us. Plus, we preview the weekend's clash at Anfield. Last week, Nottingham Forest won at Liverpool for the first time in 55 years, and with Bournemouth being the next visitors to, you wonder if lightning can REALLY strike twice. Despite their win in the Champions League in the week, Liverpool will still be smarting from their first Premier League loss of the season, so what chance have Cherries got, and what is the best way to get at Arne Slot's men? Tom and Sam are at the QP for the big match preview.... Visit the Queens Park at: 482 Holdenhurst Rd, Bournemouth, BH8 9AR. • 242 - How Bournemouth Turned Merseyside Red Against Everton
    Sep 2 2024
For 86 minutes, Bournemouth were dreadful, but with minutes to go, Sean Dyche made some changes which caused Andoni Iraola to smell blood. In just ten minutes Cherries overturned a two goal deficit to win one of the most dramatic turnarounds in Premier League history. The tweaks were minor, but they allowed us the exploit what Everton had on lock-down throughout most of the game. Steve Hensman joins Sam Davis and Tom Jordan to go over an extraordinary day at Goodison Park. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to all our platforms. • 241 - Cherries Have NEVER Left Goodison Park Happy, BUT...
    Aug 30 2024
There are reasons to be optimistic this Saturday, as Cherries visit Goodison Park for the last time ever. Yes, it's not a place where we have much joy, but the way we are playing suggests we have MORE than a chance against Sean Dyche's spluttering side. • 240 - Lets All Laugh At Bournemouth (Newcastle VAR Review)
    Aug 26 2024
Saturday evening saw VAR thrust into the limelight again as Bournemouth's winner against Newcastle United at Dean Court was deemed to be handball. The media didn't see it, the Bournemouth players didn't see it, the Newcastle players didn't see it, but 100 miles away in Stockley Park, the "t***ts in suits* DID. In this brutal review, Sam, Tom and Neil tackle yet another match weekend where PGMOL, VAR and IFAB lead the top stories. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to all our platforms. • 239 - Expectations & Eddie - Newcastle United Preview
    Aug 24 2024
Beating Bournemouth isn't for everybody, and whilst our "Special One" managed to win against the Cherries in the Carabao Cup, in the Premier League, it still hasn't happened - so will Eddie and Mad Dog's Newcastle United stop the rot on Sunday in a match where Boscombe fans will be celebrating the club's 125th anniversary? The expectations on Eddie Howe by Newcastle United fans in 2024/25 is simple - they NEED European football, and as Loaded Mags' Pete Davey suggests, without this being achieved - he fears for the Special One's position at the helm of the Magpies. We've teamed up with Football Prizes where this month's main prize is an AFC Bournemouth 24/25 signed home shirt (comes with certificate of authenticity). Plus, FOURTEEN other #afcb instant win prizes available. https://footballprizes.co.uk/product/bournemouth/ Thank you to everyone who has contributed to all our platforms. • 238 - Did Our Draw With Nottingham Forest Tell Us Anything New?
    Aug 19 2024
Bournemouth rescued a point against Nottingham Forest in a performance which was a little bit stunted, and a bit dechelleved for large parts of the game, however the introduction of Justin Kluviert and Ryan Christie seemed sort out the malaise, and thankfully our striker for today Antoine Semenyo turned up at the right time to enable us all the sing that song - "Nottingham Forest - it's happened again". Statistics in football are often used to vindicate team selection and tactical choices, however often, most supporters feel that the "eye test" is more valuable - so after Cherries' draw with Nottingham Forest on Saturday, we question whether the data should still be superseding what many fans seem to be seeing. Sam and Tom are at the Goods Yard in Broadstone for the very first Second Look of the season! 🙌 Thank you to everyone who has contributed to all our platforms.
