More than just a gym or place to learn physical skill, Torriente empowers his students with situational awareness, building confidence, internal power and conflict resolution tactics. More than just an instructor, Torriente is a coach and advocate for people in vulnerable populations or situations. With 3 black belts and over 25 years of experience in martial arts, he pulls from various arts to promote each individual’s unique skills.

Torriente specializes in teaching group classes, private lessons, and workshops for self-defense and kickboxing in person and virtually. He is also a sought-after public speaker. Torriente has presented on networking, co-teaching, self-defense, awareness and more. He enjoys mentoring and working with youth and empowering young adults
