    Thanksgiving Episode

Do you know the difference between being Thankful and having Gratitude?

    • Gratitude is an action, a choice.
    • Thankfulness is a feeling.

Being Thankful is at the origin of Gratefulness as you need the feeling, the emotion to drive the action of Gratitude which is an action that you take each and every day. You can be thankful for when someone helps you with groceries or holds open a door when you need it most. Being Grateful is then taking that feeling and letting it drive you to appreciate others through your own actions. Akin to 'Paying it forward', except you make it part of your being, your values that your govern your life by.

We speak about our struggles of thankfulness when we were in the middle of Brooke's treatments. While we very thankful for the staff that helped we were very bitter over watching Brooke endure the pain. That was until we searched and understood that through the Law of Attraction, the power of Gratitude can show us there is more to this experience.

Thank you to our radiologists Tracy and Tom - you always tried to help and accommodate us every time we came down for 47 days of Brooke's radiation. We love you!
