Fascinating, full of twists and turns
Considering this was from the Plus Catalogue, this exceeded my expectations. I was hooked from the start and listened to this in a day.

Jane’s narrative make you want to be a journalist too!
Just listened to the whole series of ‘I am not Nicholas’ in one go. It’s absolutely brilliant. Gripping from start to finish! Jane MacSorley has uncovered so many untold stories.. she is a natural Sherlock and a fabulous narrator. I loved the fact that actual clips were woven in from the interviews etc.
I am sure this will encourage more people to take up a career in journalism too!
I am hoping there will be a follow us series … “I am not Louise!”

Fascinating
He is a manipulator and made me wince with his accent. His long COVID symptoms really took the **** out of the many who continue to suffer. I really wanted to shout at his stupid wife as she is his enabler. So glad he has since been sent down.

Silly music spoils a fascinating narrative
Totally silly, unnecessary and inappropriate music really spoils this narrative. It caused me to give up after one episode……

too much of the journalist...
a complex case, with those at the centre willing to open themselves to meet, speak, examine.. i feel bound to say that it would have been much improved by less in the way of perspective

Bad Take
Regardless of how this story is presented, it is fascinating. That said, there is nothing remarkable about this podcast.
My main gripe is with the "journalist", who doesn't seem to exercise much scrutiny, going from 99% sure one way, to 99% sure the other way, on the basis of a single piece of evidence.
Podcasts and other media like this have large outreach, and help colour the public perspective, being so outspoken in your conclusion in an unresolved case you are covering is dangerous and reckless journalism.
Not sure how this podcast is going to play out, but the end of this episode gave me serious pause for thought, not sure I can manage the journey with such a gullible host.
