As she was completing her PhD, she became a mother and discovered the challenges of trying be a good parent and a successful academic. Having lived and worked in Brazil and in Germany, Nadiane realised that social policies in both countries made life almost impossible for working parents. In this interview she proposes a way to reform the working week, which could make life better, and more equal, for men and women everywhere.
