  • The Unchanging Word Bible Broadcast begins another brief series of studies in the New Testament book of James. Dr. Mitchell says this book deals with practical things in the believer's life. James was one of the very first epistles ever written in the New Testament, 49-50 A.D.

    In this introduction to the book of James Dr. Mitchell gives us some background on the author, James. He was a brother of Jesus along with four other brothers and at least two sisters of Jesus.

    Dr. Mitchell points out that it was not till after the resurrection of our Lord that this James came to know Christ as his own savior and Lord. Dr. Mitchell gives us several scriptures to help us understand the relationship of James to Jesus.
