• Unashamed of the Gospel
    Jun 7 2024
Have you done things you’re not proud of?

Most of us have something in our past, a foolish choice we’ve made, and we still feel embarrassed when we think about it—I’ve been there. I’ve got lots.

But there’s something bigger in our lives now. We live for Jesus, the One who washes our sins away, and covers us with His very own righteousness. That is Good News! That is something we should NEVER be ashamed to share.

The apostle Paul said in Romans 1,

I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes.

No matter what has happened in your past, you are saved and you are forgiven by Jesus.

Will you boldly share that same powerful Gospel message with the people in your life? Share the wonderful things God has done in your life, and don’t be ashamed!

Remember, there is always hope with God. This is Andrew Palau.

  • The Generosity of God
    Jun 6 2024
When I find something I love, I tell all my friends about it.

I want them to try it. I want them to enjoy it as much as I do. And I want to spread the joy of a good thing. Don’t you?

But what is the BEST part of your life?

If God is the best part of our lives, why wouldn’t we tell our friends? It doesn’t have to be complicated. The joyful life we have in Christ is an offer for all people. And it’s a treasure too good to keep to ourselves.

Listen to this beautiful passage from 2 Corinthians: We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure.

My friend, Christ is the greatest treasure and He’s living inside you. Share Him generously with the people that you love.

  • This One Thing
    Jun 5 2024
When you think about sharing Jesus with your friends or family, what feelings come up?

Anxiety? Awkwardness? Fear of not knowing what to say? We tend to overthink it, don’t we?

But, sharing the Good News of Jesus does not have to be complicated.

The apostle Paul once said in a letter to the Corinthian church,

I decided that while I was with you I would forget everything except Jesus Christ, the one who was crucified.

That’s what people need to know that Jesus loves them—so much so that He was willing to come to the earth and die on a cross. And He did it willingly, for the sake of love. In order to close the distance caused by sin, and bring them into relationship with Himself.

When you consider sharing the Gospel, why don’t you resolve to forget everything except this message: Jesus loves you so much that He died in order to spend forever with you.

    Share the simple Gospel today.

  • The Kindness of Telling the Truth
    Jun 4 2024
Who do you know who is struggling right now?

Sometimes when we see friends making poor life choices, it can be so hard to know what to do.

But we know the One who is able to set people free. What would happen if we shared Jesus right in these moments?

Sharing Jesus doesn’t always mean bringing correction and judgment. People who have never met Jesus need to know first that they are loved and that God has the desire and the power to help them. They need to know that there is hope in Christ.

In John 8, the word of God says, “You will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.”

I know, just as I do, that you want the people you care about to experience freedom in Christ. Sharing the truth of the Gospel is the kindest thing that we can do.

  • The Gospel Is Your Story
    Jun 3 2024
What do you say when someone says, “Tell me about yourself”?

Do you immediately answer, “I’m a follower of Jesus”?

    Maybe not.

But if you are a follower of Jesus, that means your life has indeed been changed by the power of the Gospel. More than that, you’ve become part of God’s wonderful, unfolding story of love for the whole earth!

Even though it may not be the first thing out of your mouth when you meet someone, I want to encourage you-don’t keep it a secret!

Ephesians 3:7 says, By God’s grace and mighty power, I have been given the privilege of serving him by spreading this Good News.

It’s not only a privilege to share the Gospel with those you meet; it’s part of who you are. Take a moment to consider today: what might God do if you went through life authentically sharing the truth of how Jesus has changed you?

Always remember, there is hope with God. This is Andrew Palau.

  • God Is Our Helper
    May 31 2024
You may be at a difficult place in your life right now when you are struggling.

I want to encourage you today with some quotes from the Bible which tell us about the help and strength available to us in God.

Psalm 54:4 tells us: “God is my help; the Lord is the one who sustains me.”

Are you burned out from the stresses of life? In Matthew 11:28 we read the words of Jesus: “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”

What about physical and financial needs? Jesus said, “Don’t worry about these things, …your heavenly Father already knows all your needs. Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need.”

These tremendous promises give me encouragement when I feel the pressures of this world. I hope you turn to God and His Word today for the strength you need.

Always remember, there is hope with God.

  • Whiter Than Snow
    May 30 2024
Do you sometimes feel haunted by your past…things you've done?

Or things that have been done to you? Do you have those times, maybe in the middle of the night, when you're under pressure…the memories arise and you feel haunted? Maybe the guilt emerges, and you thought you were past it.

Oh, my friend, you are not alone. You can be clean. You can know you are clean, forgiven. It is what the cross of Jesus Christ is all about. Maybe today you could pray the prayer of David, prayed in Psalm 51.

When he cried out to God, “Wash me and I will be whiter than snow.” My friend, why don't you ask him today and allow the Spirit of God to fill you with joy and gladness because He has cleaned you out?

  • The Good Shepherd
    May 29 2024
One of my favorite Bible verses is John 10:10.

Jesus says, “I have come that they might have life, and have it to the full.”

He continues with this amazing statement: “I am the good shepherd…and I lay down my life for the sheep.”

Jesus was using the analogy of a shepherd who loves and cares for his sheep to describe His relationship with us. He is God, but He came to this world because He loves humankind to the extent that He was willing to die for us.

Later in John chapter 10 Jesus alluded to His death on the cross by saying that “No one takes {my life}from me, I lay it down of my own accord.”

Never think of yourself as being of little worth. Just remember the Good Shepherd who died to save you. And not only to save you but to give you life to the full. I hope you will open your heart to Him today.
