    It is a legendary Indian folk story.

    Once upon a time, a lion was trapped in a cage. He tried to escape but was unsuccessful. Finally, he saw a brahmin crossing the road and pleaded with him for help. First, the brahmin hesitated but on repeated requests, he agreed. But as soon as the lion was out, he pounced on the brahmin to devour him.

    Brahmin was sorry for his foolishness that he trusted a wild beast. He pleaded with the lion to allow him to ask three questions to which the lion agreed. Brahmin asked a question each to a tree, an ox and the road but all of them told him that life is ungrateful and he should accept his fate.

    Finally, he met a jackal who asked him his story. Upon hearing everything, the jackal offered to help the Brahmin.

  • Bodhisatta's Bravery (बोधिसत्ता की बहादुरी)

    It is a legendary Indian folk story.

    Once upon a time, Brahmadutt was the king of Benares. Bodhisatta was born as the son of the chief queen of Brahmadatta. On the day of his naming, Brahmadatta fulfilled the wishes of 800 Brahmins. Then Brahmadatta asked the Brahmins about the lucky traces of the son.

    The Brahmins told the King that his son will become king after him and will rule all over India with his intelligence and 5 weapons. When Bodhisatta was 16 years old, he was asked to complete his studies. The king gave Bodhisatta a thousand currencies as guru Dakshina for his teacher and sent him to the Kandahar state, where a wise teacher lived. Bodhisatta completed his education, received 5 weapons as a gift from the Guru. He took leave from his guru and left Takkasila and left for Benares with his 5 weapons.

    On his way, he encountered a strong monster but Bodhisatta was confident enough and did not panic. Seeing his confidence and fearless attitude, the monster let him go. Before leaving the forest, The Bodhisatta ordered the demon to follow the path of devotion and leave his path of cruelty.

    Some people were still waiting outside the forest. The Bodhisatta told him all the things and then proceeded to Benares. Going forward, when the Bodhisatta became king, he served people with great honesty and intelligence and served the country. Enjoy Hindi Stories For Kids.

The thieves took everything away from them. The businessmen were just left with a pair of clothes each to wear.

    The thieves did not just leave the poor people on that, they made all businessmen dance and sing for fun. Suddenly, the leader of the businessmen had an idea.     In a village named Uttara, there lived a priest named Kusalanatha along with his wife and six sons. He was well to do but due to some misfortune they started to have financial issues. The situation was so bad that the priest had to do extra chores for a living. He used to collect bamboo rice from the forest. One day he saw a serpent stuck in a small forest fire. As soon as he saves the serpent, it tried to bit him. The priest then started crying. The serpent realized that the priest was just helping him and it was wrong to bite him. He offered the priest two jewels for the well-being of his family. The priest then built a small temple in honor of the serpent in the same spot.
