All but one member of the FOMC voted yes on lowering interest rates–and Linda agrees with that single member. She unpacks how the interest rate lowering might impact the economy and the stock market–and the historic context of this decision (spoiler alert: yes, interest rates have indeed been higher in our country’s history!). Linda also explains the terms “dovish” and “bullish” when it comes to attitudes towards the stock market.
