  • Ep 3. How to Harness Unapologetic Ambition
    Sep 25 2024

In this episode, we dive into the concept of unapologetic ambition and how to pursue your dreams fearlessly. Whether you're an entrepreneur, solopreneur, or someone with big aspirations, it's crucial to embrace your ambition without guilt or hesitation. Tune in as we discuss actionable strategies and practical advice to help you chase your dreams with confidence and determination.

For men, ambition is often celebrated. But for women, it can be seen as a four-letter word. We’re expected to aim high but not too high, to be assertive but not aggressive, to succeed but not overshadow. But I'm here to tell you that ambition is not something you should ever have to apologize for.

Being unapologetically ambitious means working towards your goals without justifying them to anyone. It’s about recognizing your worth, owning your desire for success, and refusing to settle for less.

Here’s How to Harness Unapologetic Ambition:

    1. Redefine Ambition: Stop seeing ambition as a dirty word. Ambition is self-respect, power, and the fire that drives change. Own it!
    2. Set Big Goals: Don’t hold back. Think big! Write these goals down, break them into actionable steps, and tackle them head-on with no apologies.
    3. Surround Yourself with the Right People: Keep people around who push you, challenge you, and celebrate you. Get rid of the energy vampires who want to keep you playing small.
    4. Advocate for Yourself: Don’t wait for a seat at the table—take it. Speak up, ask for what you want, and don’t take no for an answer.

    Handling Backlash:

When you start making massive shifts and showing up for yourself in a bigger way, there will be people who just don’t like it. Some of them could be random strangers, but others could be people close to you. No matter who they are, here’s what you need to do:

    • Grow Thick Skin: Criticism will come. Some will be useful, but most of it will be garbage. Filter out the negative noise and stay focused on your goals.
    • Find Your Tribe: Connect and collaborate with other ambitious women. There’s strength in numbers and in being surrounded by people who are on the same journey as you.
    • Stay True to Your Vision: Don’t get sidetracked by other people’s opinions. Your vision is yours for a reason. Keep your eyes on the prize and don’t look back.

One of the things I love most about women stepping up for themselves in a big way is the ripple effect it creates. When people see you doing the hard, uncomfortable things, you show them what’s possible for them too.

My entire coaching business was born through my personal journey of changing my business and life. Others saw my progress and reached out, wanting to make massive changes too.

Remember, you have the power to create any life or business you desire, but you have to be willing to ignore what others think and pursue what you want unapologetically.

Listen in until the end to hear a simple Action Step you can take to keep yourself motivated as you're working towards your big goals!

If today’s episode inspired you, share it with a woman you know who could use some extra encouragement and inspiration.

  • Ep 2. Top 10 Lessons in 10 Years of Business
    Sep 25 2024

In this episode, we dive deep into the realities of entrepreneurship with a focus on resilience, growth, and success. As a Realtor or Solopreneur, navigating the challenges of running your own business can feel overwhelming. Priya shares her top 10 lessons from over a decade as a Realtor/Solopreneur, providing actionable insights to help you tackle the complexities of entrepreneurship with confidence.

Lesson 1: Problem-Solving Skills Are Key to Business Growth

    • Problems in business are inevitable, but developing problem-solving skills is crucial. Strategic action, even under stress, separates successful entrepreneurs from the rest. Remember, consistent problem-solving leads to consistent revenue.

Lesson 2: Investing in Yourself Accelerates Growth

    • Investing in personal and business growth can feel intimidating, but it's crucial for expansion. Even less-than-ideal investments can offer valuable lessons and networking opportunities. Betting on yourself is a bet you'll never regret.

Lesson 3: Growth Requires Stepping Out of Your Comfort Zone

    • Real growth happens outside of your comfort zone. Fear is a natural part of growth, but learning to embrace it can lead to incredible outcomes. Use tools like Mel Robbins' 5-Second Rule to push past fear and take action.

Lesson 4: Sustaining and Scaling Requires Keeping More of Your Money

    • There's a big difference between revenue and profit. Prioritizing profitability is essential. Priya follows the Profit First method to ensure she's always paying herself first, keeping expenses low, and staying prepared for taxes, retirement, or reinvestment.

    Lesson 5: Consistency Converts

    • Success in business requires consistent marketing and connection-building. It takes an average of 52 touchpoints to make a sale, so make sure you're staying top of mind for potential clients.

Lesson 6: Show Up Authentically and Connect Deeply with Your Audience

    • Authenticity resonates far more than pretending to be something you’re not. Let your personality shine through in everything you do, and you'll quickly build stronger connections with your ideal clients.

Lesson 7: Imposter Syndrome Doesn’t Stop You, Lack of Action Does

    • Everyone faces feelings of inadequacy at some point, but letting them paralyze you will only hold you back. Taking action, even when you don’t feel ready, is what drives success.

Lesson 8: Know Whether You’re Motivated by Pleasure or Pain

    • Determine if you're truly motivated by recognition or financial investment. Understanding what drives you can help you set and achieve your goals more effectively.

Lesson 9: Prioritize Service and Value Over Monetary Gains

    • Focus on client service and providing value. Impact equals income. When you prioritize serving your clients, the financial success naturally follows.

Lesson 10: Block the Haters and Do You

    • Not everyone will support your journey. Surround yourself with people who encourage and believe in you, even if it means distancing yourself from those who don’t.

Tune in to this episode for an honest look at what it takes to thrive as an entrepreneur!
