• Setting priorities… and leaving everything else aside
    Oct 27 2024

What does setting priorities mean to you? Does it mean, knowing what things to do first? Or does it help you assess what to invest your time in in the first place? Sometimes you need to invest a lot of energy doing something; maybe not perfectly but well enough, definitely. But sometimes, it means investing your energy into one thing instead of the other. And sometimes... it means not doing something at all, or does it? How do you set your priorities?

  • FOMO, Highlight Reels and Crazy Screen Time
    Oct 21 2023
If you asked me a couple of years ago on my opinion on social media, I would have - despite being aware of possible issues - given you a talk on all of the positive effects that it had on me, my personality and my confidence. And while I still stand by that today, I had to experience a lot of the negative side-effects that social media can have on you in the past 2-3 years. That's why I decided to tone down my consumption and went from an average screen time of 5 hours, to an average screen time of way under 1 hour. Why is that so? Should you do the same? Was high school better before social media? What influence has money on the industry? Let's discuss that in this episode! Find me here! • Are your 20s the time of your life?
    Apr 3 2022
Thank you to everyone who tuned in on episode one and people who gave me feedback. I'm overwhelmed by the fact that so many more people than expected decided to give this a go and I hope you were not disappointed! ❤️ In today's episode we dive into the question of whether your 20s are "THE time of your life" and I will talk about the fact that - while it can be an amazing and promising outlook - this expectation also put a lot of pressure and frustration on us during a time where we (just like everyone else) had to spend a big portion of our everyday lives not being able to do all the things we likely planned to do and live out our "young and independent years". Along with that, I'm also going to discuss how (major historic events aside) while getting closer to the end of your 20s, what once was a promising outlook turns into a daunting uncertainty of your life supposedly getting more serious (spoiler alert: it's not) once your 20s are over, when we have actually been told similar things over and over again at every major time of change in our lives. Growing older shouldn’t feel scary, because it means just that: Growing! Find me here! YouTube: youtube.com/c/elenayouknow Instagram: instagram.com/elena_youknow TikTok: tiktok.com/@elena_youknow?

    Mar 25 2022

Welcome to the first episode of the Perfectly Enough Podcast.

Today, I will talk about the idea behind this podcast, what I will be doing on here in the future and what all of that may have to do with you. Sit back while we dive into the question whether we're perfectionists and how we can approach our work, projects and life-challenges with a little more chill and less fear of failure.
