  • "Cold-Hearted Pastor." Interview w/Jamel Armstrong.
    Dec 14 2021

    Season's Greetings!

Today on Pillar Talk with Rochelle, Husband, Father, and Pastor Jamel Armstrong wraps up season 2 with his intriguing story on"personality." Despite "being a good student and academically at the top of his class throughout school," there were times that Jamel found himself in the basement and often overlooked. Then, recognizing the tendency to be overlooked, he discovered that he could perform to get attention. Why not? Performing came naturally for him. "Don't put me in the classroom; I'm going to dominate." But Jamel would soon realize that performing didn't always result in producing. As such, later in life, when he tries to tap into his more cool, calm, collected temperament, he's mistaken for not having feelings. Talk about simply complex.

  • "You can't hit a defenseless player." Interview w/Therron "TC" Cunningham.
    Nov 30 2021

Today on Pillar Talk with Rochelle, Pastor Therron "TC" Cunningham welcomes up to join a stimulating conversation on what it means to "stand up" for someone. Protector, provider, place of support, and pouring into one's identity are several ways he challenges us to stand up for someone in any environment. Pastor TC believes that standing up for someone should start in the family. Unfortunately, it doesn't happen as often as it should because "there could be a lack of security, and we're not certain we're able to survive the attack ourselves."

If you are a parent, a boss, a caregiver, a teacher, a coach, a mentor, or a human being, and you're self-aware enough to know that you have more "growing, learning, and maturing" to do in your leadership, gift yourself with this riveting interview. Thought-provoking. Inspirational. Empowering. Self-help. "Immaturity is not a curse word. Stay connected as you mature." —Pastor TC.
