Today we will dive into the 3rd article of the Whatcom County Charter. Addressing the Executive branch, the officers, the duties and expectations of the people. Let's dive in!

Aloha and welcome as we delve into the second Article of the Whatcom County Charter. These episodes are going to be more direct and straightforward with some minor opinion from myself at times. We are looking to expand our community understanding of our power as a County. We the People of Whatcom County are set up to lead. Will we?

I'm running for local office on the Whatcom County Charter Review Commission Board for District 4 in Washington State. So I figured we could go over the entire Charter piece by piece over a set of episodes.

Lets talk about how we set up the future generations for success.

FDR brought with him a New Deal. In this deal was a program called the Civilian Conservation Corp (CCC). This emergency employment program was federally funded and was highly successful. So I imagined a new program based off this concept. Hear me out and let us discuss how we learn from our past for the present solutions that are needed today.
