The alliance between Jon Moxley and Bryan Danielson under the mentorship of William Regal was completely unexpected but thankfully, the Blackpool Combat Club is gearing up to be one of the hottest new factions in professional wrestling. The question now is who else will join the squad? AEW is filled with plenty of young talent, but only a select few would fit perfectly with the Regal’s group. In November 2020, AEW announced it had partnered with former WWE 2K developer Yuke’s and WWF No Mercy director Hideyuki “Geta” Iwashita to develop the promotion’s first console game on all major platforms. As huge fans of No Mercy (arguably the most beloved wrestling game of all time), we here at Talk AEW have been impatiently waiting for more news to drop in hopes that they will release the game sooner than later.
