  • 6: When We Numb Our Soul-Suffering
    Sep 2 2023

"What motivates me to move forward in life - a lot of times, it's just the pain of not."

Some of us are sensitive to pain, and especially what I call 'Soul-suffering.' So we train ourselves to numb it. We numb our misery. We numb our desperation.

And in the process, we also numb our callings and dreams.

Let's explore what happens when we break the habit of numbing and start seeing our pain as a gift that gets us going in our Soul's direction.

  • 5: The Grief of Becoming
    Aug 7 2023

Changing our lives brings up many emotions.

Last week, I talked about the fear of change that can drive us to choose the familiar path.

But there is another experience that inevitably gets triggered by transformation:

    Grief.

Whenever we initiate anything new in our lives, we also experience a painful loss—the loss of our old identity.

Even if it's a change we intentionally choose, if we do not acknowledge and grieve our loss, we risk thwarting our own evolution.

In this episode you'll discover why grief is a necessary part of becoming yourself and how to embrace it with openness and grace.

  • 4: Attuning to Fear
    Jul 31 2023

On a recent vacation, my cellphone decided to kick the bucket.

That, plus my intention to 'be present' during the trip, taught me an unexpected lesson about fear.

I've started to realize that most of the time, rather than feel my fear, I just react to it. It's often unconscious.

But I'm learning that attuning to fear and feeling my fear is actually the most powerful way to go.
