While discussing art and creativity, Nikki shares that she can’t relate to some artists' need for expression—or lack thereof. Then, they dive into one of Nikki’s fave quizzes, the NY Times Regional Dialect Test, and answer it. They end up with a way better result than the Akinator (side note: the answer to that quiz was Cara Delevingne, who interviewed Nikki for Interview—cool, right?). In the Final Thought, Brian gives an honest review of Wicked, AND everyone is screaming over the latest shout out Nikki got.

Nikki and Brian have been talking smack all morning, so of course, it spills over into the pod. Brian gives his somewhat controversial take on the latest in entertainment, and Nikki’s here for it. Nikki’s been obsessed with English Teacher and is dying for more shows like it. She got legit excited when a friend told her she's on Brad Pitt's radar. After a little scare at the park, Nikki might have to get her dog a private trainer while she's away hosting the Golden Globes. Meanwhile, Brian’s trying to get Chris to join the ginseng craze, but Nikki’s already ahead of the game with an Eastern Medicine gift from a Bestie. They go off on the flaws of the medical system and pledge to meditate more. Somehow, they end up creating an "In & Out" list for the new year and agree that Seinfeld stands the test of time. In the Final Thought, they rant about pet peeves at the gym.

Obviously, Nikki’s been watching a ton of movies in prep for hosting the Golden Globes, and it’s made her realize that no one actually accidentally stumbles into a kiss like they do in rom-coms. Also, My Old Ass is amazing on many levels. Nikki and Julie had a solid laugh over an Alzheimer’s commercial and really like the Martha doc. Chris isn’t fazed by danger, and Nikki’s kinda accepting it. She still tells people to walk against traffic though, and while driving on a slick road, wished her body was elsewhere. Noa asks for some relationship advice, and in the Final Thought, Nikki gets real about her career.
