On this week's episode, we revisit the July 10th 1993 episode of USWA Championship Wrestling! Fresh off regaining the Unified World title from Owen Hart on July 5th, Bert Prentice introduces a new challenger for the King who promises to "drain all the blood of the King's living body!" Johnny Polo reappears after being AWOL for a few weeks to take on the "Fabulous One" Jeff Jarrett! Polo also introduces us to his friend, the Disco Inferno who is here to challenge "Nightmare" Danny Davis for the USWA Middleweight title!

Bert Prentice now manages the new USWA Tag Team Champions "Principal" C.W. Bergstrom & Melvin Penrod Jr but Bert's "other tag team" Simply Divine want their shot at the titles, Bert's time as Dunn & King's manager may be done, perhaps even…."WELL DUNN". Plus: Scott Taylor & Randy Rockett in tag team action and the main event of the show is Jerry 'the King' Lawler vs. Brian Christopher w/Miss Simpson!

Brian Christopher is on a RAMPAGE this week after losing his Southern title to Jarrett and Ash Masters pays the price. "Principal" C.W. Bergstrom introduces his "A-Student" Melvin Penrod Jr. who is going to be his tag team partner this week challenging New Jack & Homeboy for the USWA Tag Team titles. We also hear from the Unified World Champion "the Rocket" Owen Hart with his manager Bert Prentice as well as the "King" Jerry Lawler who will be getting a rematch for the title at the 4th of July "Spectaculah"!

On this week's episode, we revisit the June 26, 1993 episode of USWA Championship Wrestling! It was an eventful night at the Mid-South Coliseum last week! Bert Prentice turned on Papa Shango and helped Owen Hart win the Unified title! Owen then attacked 'The King' during his match with Referee Paul Neighbors seeking retribution on behalf of his brother Bret at the King of the Ring. New Jack and Homeboy are the new USWA Tag Team Champions! Jeff Jarrett tricks Brian Christopher before their upcoming HAIR vs. TITLE match. The "Fabulous" Jackie Fargo is coming to town this week! Bert Prentice drops the "M-word" multiple times ahead of his match with Lone Eagle before getting "drop kicked" into a "mud pit" and of course we get our weekly promo class from Miss Texas and Miss Simpson continues to get less and less "British" with every promo!

Jerry 'the King' Lawler Is set to finally get his rematch with Papa Shango for the Unified World title this Monday night as they have a call in contest to find "15 kids to go out with the King & Jeff Jarrett for dinner and a movie". "Principal" C.W. Bergstrom is still at war with Jeff Gaylord with his paddle, the "board of education" at the forefront, PG-13 are still M.I.A. yet "The Natural" Bo Alexander is still here as is Mark Freer, Miss Texas has words for Miss Simpson, Dave Brown is still on a mission to get Brian Christopher to sign a contract to face Jeff Jarrett but Brian still refuses, so now he has to face…..CONTRACT Inc!! (Yes, that's someone's name apparently), plus we've got a tag team MAIN EVENT that features USWA Tag Team Champions Simply Divine (Rex King/Steve Doll) taking on Jerry 'the King' Lawler/Jeff Jarrett. Sadly, Richard is away this week, however Gene & Josh welcome special guest co-host Brian Tramel to stand in for him.

This week we travel back to the June 5th 1993 episode of USWA Championship Wrestling where some new faces are making their debut! "The Natural" Bo Alexander is here looking like a younger less buff version of "Golden Boy" Chic Donovan. Then we meet Ronnie Lotz all the way from Chicago with his tag team, The Untouchables. Jerry Lawler fresh off winning the #1 Contender's Tournament for Papa Shango's Unified World title gets convinced by Bert Prentice to put it on the line in a match against Rex King. We hear from Jeff Gaylord who takes on Reggie B. Fine in a singles match, then in the main event Jeff Jarrett teams with Miss Texas against the Master of Terror and Brandi Wine in a mixed tag team match! PLUS: Miss Simpson is here "cleaning up" Dave Brown and Corey Maclin while calling out Miss Texas! Meanwhile, Brian Christopher refuses to defend the Southern Heavyweight Championship against Jeff Jarrett and in turn Eddie Marlin is forcing him to defend the title against the Undertaker!

On this week's episode, the boys revisit May 29, 1993 where the USWA is preparing for a big tournament to determine a challenger for Papa Shango's Unified World Championship. Also on this week's show, PG-13 face USWA Tag Team Champions Simply Divine (Rex King/Steve Doll) w/Bert Prentice in a non-title match. Mark Freer arrives in the USWA and is immediately propositioned by Bert Prentice! (to be his manager that is) "Jennifer on the Road" pays a visit to Jerry Lawler's house to see his Coca-Cola Collection and some of his art work amongst other things. Jeff Jarrett who was just recently in a serious auto accident with Promoter/Grandfather Eddie Marlin, has a serious message for everyone. Miss Texas still plans to "beat Miss Simpson like she owns her". Brian Christopher cuts a promo that you just have to hear to believe that it happened on Memphis TV in 93 and then he proceeds to beat Miss Texas with a belt like he… nevermind…just check out the show!

It's episode #24 as we revisit the May 22nd 1993 edition of USWA Championship Wrestling. The show kicks off with Johnny Polo gifting his "best friend" Brian Christopher one of his "British Nannies", Miss Simpson! From there Brian Christopher brings in a "legend" to take on Jeff Jarrett for a shot at his Southern Heavyweight title (meanwhile the hosts are not impressed with the new Southern Heavyweight Championship belt that has been quietly introduced with no mention on TV) Mike Samples has returned….once again but this time he doesn't bring with him a "Russian Brute" but instead a disgraced High School Principal from Oregon who was let go due to his questionable disciplinary methods, no matter how awful you THINK this sounds, I promise you it's worse. (especially when you find out who he's going to feud with)

Jerry Lawler & Koko B. Ware are still sore at Simply Divine and Bert Prentice over last week's incident as well as getting robbed in their tag team title match last Monday night, this week they plan to place Bert in a homemade "straitjacket" and Koko has literally threatened to KILL Bert Prentice. This is a fun episode of the podcast that you don't want to miss!
