Happy Holidays to all and to all a good Midwinter's Night!  Kirpal and I couldn't think of a better whiskey to discuss as we roll into the holiday season.  Is the hype behind this yearly limited release whiskey worth it?  You betcha it is.  Tune in to find out why we think so.  And we were in such a giving mood that we have offered not 1, not 2, but 3 (If my math is correct) whiskey tips for you to enjoy.  Merry Christmas to all and a Happy Festivus to the rest of you.  

After a long...long hiatus, we are back with an episode that kind of fell thru the cracks.  We actually recorded this a few months ago and are releasing it now.  This is sure to satisfy the palates of all you sherry enthusiasts and dare I say, influence the rest of you to become one.  This Oloroso Sherry Oak matured expression from the Kavalan distillery is nothing short of exceptional.  Enjoy!

 

The Wild Turkey Distillery produces some of the finest whiskey in the world, thanks in no small part to Jimmy and Eddie Russell.  Their dedication and passion for whiskey is simply second to none.  And so, the show has decided to honor both of them in tasting two signature whiskies that share their name: The Russell's Reserve 10 year bourbon and the 6 year Rye.  

A bit of a mini episode for you all.  Kirpal goes solo and gives his tasting notes for the 2 from Glenmorangie that I covered back in episode 4: the 10, and Tale of Cake.  Tune in to hear how his notes match up with mine.
