The Charlotte Hornets have increased their winning streak to 4 straight in a tough win against the Utah Jazz. Grant Williams and Miles Bridges did a great job of closing the game. Guys like Tre Mann and Brandon Miller were impacting the game in every facet and team were able to get a hard fought win.

We all know the Hornets do not typical make trades during the season. Especially significant ones. To make 3 significant trades this season is uncharacteristic of the franchise but huge for the develop of this team. The deadline acquisitions does not make this team a contender but it does help push the team in the right direction. Much more work to be done before this team can really be confident in playoff aspirations. The Charlotte Hornets had a day!

The Hornets start their horrendous road trip as well as missing even more key players. Will this be the time where Miles Bridges can get on a hot streak? The Charlotte Hornets are missing Gordon Hayward, LaMelo Ball and Mark Williams while they go on the roughest stretch of games they will face this season. This is where the bench unit along with Miles Bridges need to step up (but remain healthy) if the Hornets want a chance to come out of this road trip successful.

The Charlotte Hornets have been struggling the last couple of games and a lot of that has been due to injury. But after so many games, it's noticeable that the team is starting to lose their flair. The team is not putting forth any effort and do not look to will their way through games. It's still early in the season but a majority of this team already looks checked out. It is to the point where I don't believe basketball adjustments will save this team. The players need to search within themselves or the front office needs to start making moves. Not to save the season but to save this franchise from years of embarrassment.
