Wind of Change

By: Pineapple Street Studios / Crooked Media / Spotify
  • Summary

  • It’s 1990. The Berlin Wall just fell. The Soviet Union is on the verge of collapse. And the soundtrack to the revolution is one of the best selling songs of all time, the metal ballad “Wind of Change,” by the Scorpions. Decades later, journalist Patrick Radden Keefe heard a rumor: the song wasn’t written by the Scorpions. It was written by the CIA. This is his journey to find the truth. Wind of Change is an Original Series from Pineapple Street Studios, Crooked Media and Spotify.

Makes you wonder

I enjoyed this hugely. Whilst it didn’t arrive at a clear cut resolution to the question for posed - such documentaries rarely manage that - the protagonists exhausted all avenues and stumbled across some thought provoking accounts and ideas.

very interesting and thoughtful

we always think spy agencies work is to send spies all over the world to get other governments information but what if they are cooler and more innovative than what we think this podcast gives an other perspective on how do intelligence agencies might really work wich makes very great i just reckon there was another stories in this category beside this main one it could be better.
