Winning Not Fighting Podcast

By: John Vincent & Sifu Julian Hitch
  • Summary

  • Winning Not Fighting draws on ancient Eastern wisdoms to provide a practical guide to success, contentment and wellbeing.

Hosted by LEON founder John Vincent and Wing Tsun master Julian Hitch, Winning Not Fighting explores the lessons of the ancient martial art of Wing Tsun that sprung from the southern Shaolin Temple in China and was made famous by Bruce Lee.

The result is a unique combination of business, philosophy, and martial arts that provides a holistic framework for self development.

Wing Tsun – and therefore this podcast series - combines practical action with philosophy, and mind with body.

In each episode, John and Julian interview and train friends and colleagues from the worlds of medicine and wellbeing, politics, the media, business and sport who can shed light on Wing Tsun's themes of mastery, staying relaxed, freedom and responsibility.

Rather than seeing fighting as a prerequisite for achieving, this podcast suggests that, in fact, as soon as we fight, we lose.

    Nov 12 2024

In this episode of Winning Not Fighting, hosts John Vincent and Julian Hitch sit down with Dr. Ash Kapoor, a pioneering GP and regenerative medicine expert, to explore why we get ill and what simple action we can take to help prevent it. Very few understand more about how the human body works and fewer still are able to communicate simply how to make it last longer.

We discuss why our healthcare system may be missing the bigger picture—and how ancient wisdom could hold the keys to a healthier future.

Dr. Ash delves into his journey through medicine, his passion for treating patients as whole individuals, and the importance of addressing not just symptoms but the environmental and psychological factors behind them.

    Ash is an Enneagram 2.
