This book is Lights on the Champs-Elysees. The story continues with the children, and the adults having welcomed the arrival of their grandparents and small neighbor child, and the larger expanded family group venturing out into Paris together. A full list of those titles, including all the currently named chapters (rather than numbered as in my previous work) is at the end of each book. Parts 2 through 8 are comprehensive, with an over-arching theme and story of experiencing Paris, and finding what that experience means within.

Though without big brother Antone, she does have to corral her four younger cousins, Zilker 9, Buzz 10, Tabitha 11, and Simone 12. These characters are part of a larger cast in the Slumming in Paris novella series, six short stories set in Austin and Galveston Texas, five shorts in Paris, and one short story (a mystery) in Vermont.

My wife Sheila and I spent 5 1/2 weeks in Paris late 2012, which has formed the setting basis for the "Slumming in Paris" novels, and these short stories. The stories will either enhance the fiction the characters participate in (in this case, "Slumming in Paris, Part Two, The Children") - or, if one already knows the related novel, will give extra meaning and nuance to the short story.
