First published in 1843, A Christmas Carol is arguably Charles Dickens' most famous work. In this classic tale, Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by three ghosts. Each of them shows Scrooge scenes intended to make him change his evil ways.

I note the comparison in the UK, with regards to the fracking and the potential damage it causes. I reflect, back to when I first visited the reservation - to research the link between a 12th century prince and Mandan native Americans. My story deals with the struggle of the natives of North Dakota over the years.
