Story
Originally titled The Greatest Civil War Lie Ever Told, listen to this audiobook and decide for yourself whether it is fact or fiction. An alarming tale of deceit, danger and betrayal both during and after the Civil War: Is it fact or fiction? What appears at first to be one lie expands into a far reaching expose of conspiracy, deception, and threats on many levels. Written by Will Bevis as the first of at least four books on the subject it will grab your attention from the first page.

Story
"Then Her Wig Fell Off" is a story that I heard and wrote about, in a hair salon - the same one that is pictured on the cover of the book. Inside you will meet the person I call "The Magician" who takes anyone who walks through the door, and not only makes their hair look better, but makes them FEEL better as well. Even if they are old...or have cancer. We're all human, both the beautiful and the not so; those in their prime and those dying. This is a story that lifts the human spirit.

Story
I was only 17 - a white kid green as they come - when I first met Walker Brown. Everybody called him "Train-Man Brown" or just "Train-Man". Not Trainman - that was too soft. The emphasis was on "Man". A black man, he had evidently kicked more than a few butts in his lifetime of working in the moving mail cars, and had earned quite of bit of respect along the way. It was assumed he was crazy - but I never believed it, not for a moment. And he was the only one who would help me, as I struggled to do my best on "The Gravy Train".

Story
This is a horrible, true story. One person called it "gruesome". I agree with that statement. It is a story not for the faint of heart. Turn back now, if that is you. What it really is though, is a strong dose of reality. Not of just how frail life is and how quickly and horribly it can end, but also of how cold and inhumane people can be to each other. People in both low and high positions. You have been warned. I have told this story as I have heard it. All names have been changed except my own.
