Apocalypse Knights

Maximo Strident, war veteran and member of local law enforcement, never wanted to enter the dungeon. With promises of wealth beyond his imagination, his squad mates managed to convince him. Max isn’t a Knight, so he has no magical equipment or spells that could help him against monsters. What he does have, however, are the sword forms he learnt at the Blade Academy. These forms are formidable martial arts that make him the match of Level 0 monsters. But Level 99 monsters? He doesn’t stand a chance.

These forms are formidable martial arts that make him the match of Level 0 monsters. But Level 99 monsters? He doesn’t stand a chance.

After venturing into the Forlorn Dungeon, Maximo Strident has obtained the Arcanist class and become a Knight-Errant. Now, he knows what lays within the strange dungeon: the future. The apocalypse. But it is just a possible future. Max will lead a newly formed cohort of the best Knights-Errant into the apocalypse, where adventure, power, and danger await. Along the way, Max will have to learn how to combine his spells most effectively, craft items that will make him a match for monsters, and discover new classes for his allies to unlock.

Maximo Strident and the Apocalypse Knights venture deeper into the Apocalypse Horizon. More and more dungeons appear, and it quickly becomes apparent that their previous methods might not cut it. Even as he acquires more levels, spells, and items, Max is faced by a new enemy. This enemy is known as the Slaughterman, a diabolical fiend who threatens not only Max himself but his companions. All the while, the Cosmic Logos watches, and it’s starting to think the time has come to intervene.

The apocalypse is on the horizon, and only one man can stop it. Joined by his Apocalypse Knights, Maximo Strident will face dungeons and monsters at levels never before seen. The worst of all, though, are those deranged parodies of Knights-Errant known as Harbingers. It's a good thing Max can steal spells, because the world depends on him ascending to heights of power once thought impossible.
