I’ve always known about dragons, but it’s only recently that they’ve wanted anything to do with me. Now I’m a hot commodity - and there’s only one person I trust to keep me safe. Ace will protect my body...but if he gets too close, I’m afraid he’ll steal my heart. No dragon ever treated me so kindly, and no man ever lit me up inside like he does. He says I’m his mate, but could a playboy dragon like him really want a simple farmer like me? Ace is determined to prove what we have is real, and to keep me from harm. But I’m still not sure why I’m in such demand.

I’m too busy to let a mate slow me down. As one of the last two water dragons in existence, I know it’s my responsibility to help build our numbers back up. But I’m not ready for a mate or a kid. Not yet. Then, Khyler walks into the room and has me questioning everything.
