When your parents are pathologically self-centered, manipulative, or emotionally abusive, the pain they cause is deep and often difficult to put into words. We know that one in seven children in the US has suffered from abuse in their families. Neglect is the most common form of child abuse. Authorities believe this is a conservative estimate given that many cases are unreported.

The depth or imaginal psychotherapy is highly effective in treating and assessing adult survivors of childhood abuse.
