När Johan Egonsson växer upp finns våldet och glåporden ständigt i hans närhet. När föräldrarna tar ut skilsmässa försvinner det sista av tryggheten i hemmet. Johan blir svårt mobbad i skolan. Vid en klassresa till Gröna Lund möter han ett gäng skinheads som i hans hand stoppar en broschyr om Sverigedemokraterna. Någon har sett honom. Efter en tid tar han kontakt med partiets lokala förening hemma i Småland. Det här blir början på Johans resa in i mörkret. På ett av Sverigedemokraternas möten får han kontakt med en krets som är villig att ta till ytterligheter för att hålla Sverige svenskt.
