About this listen
Praised by number-one New York Times best-selling author Rachel Van Dyken as "Spellbinding and addicting!", the second installment in the erotic paranormal trilogy The Watcher by Kim Loraine continues the epic tale of Heaven vs. Hell with a sexy side of vampires.
Five years...that's all I have left,
then the Watcher will take control.
But not before I use him to get what I want.
It seemed like a good plan at the time,
until I found her.
She's meant for me.
Now I can't leave her.
I won't go.
Sariel demands I hold up my end of our deal,
Fight the Fallen.
Win the war between Heaven and Hell.
But she's the one I never thought I'd find,
I can't let Sariel take me from her.
I need to make a choice - her or my soul?
*Disclaimer: This novel is the second part of a trilogy where each book is about a different character, but the story is continuous, therefore it is not a standalone. It also contains graphic, erotic scenes.

Enthralling
Set five years after book one, it was great to check-in on Galen and Reece and see how they were doing. Sariel, the vampire and fallen Angel/ watcher that now shares Devon’s consciousness is ready to take over and fight for his redemption and love. Just a little snag, after five years, Devon is ready to renege on his deal to fade away quietly as he’s found his soulmate in Willow. Man, their story is riveting. I love how feisty Willow is. She doesn’t take anything and fights back at every opportunity, and I just love that. Devon isn’t easily swayed though, just ask Sariel. This book was more emotional for me and the performance from Will M Watt and Susan Fouche highlighted that aspect.
Such an enthralling story and I’m looking forward to the next book, pet of me doesn’t want it to end and I’m dreading what may happen.
Having read other spin-off series first, it was fun seeing some familiar characters show up.
Will M Watt and Susan Fouche perform this book in duet. I loved both Will and Susan in this book. In book one, I wasn’t really sold on Susan and thought she wasn’t for me. But I’m this book, I was all in. I don’t know if it was the character or that I adjusted to her style of narration, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.
