About this listen
"I'm not your enemy, Quinn. And I'm sure as hell not your prince charming, so stop looking at me like you're not sure which one I am."
Six years he's been gone, and then he falls straight into my bed. Literally. And I know my torment is only beginning.
I waited my whole life for Zee St. James to open his eyes and see me. But Port Clover's official bad boy would never view me as anything more than his best friend's little sister.
He shattered my heart into thousands of pieces when he left. And I spent years trying to forget him. Trying to banish the memory of that one kiss.
I thought I'd moved on. But when he comes crashing back into my life, or rather my apartment - the one he still owns - I'm defenseless against him.
Just when I think I might finally get my happily ever after, a web of secrets and betrayal threaten to unravel the hope I finally found in his arms.
And I'm faced with the soul-baring question: Is loving Zee worth the torment he inflicts?

Great book, angsty
I really enjoyed this angsty sort of second chance romance. Zee and Quinn never really entered Into a relationship when they were younger but were obviously interested. However, Zee was in a bad place and left. Fast forward 6 years and he is back with many secrets and a fair amount of angst. I liked Quinn’s character and felt like she and Zee worked through many issues although there was a fair bit of push and pull. I loved Cade’s character (Quinn’s brother) and look forward to his story.
Gunner Qualen and Jenna St Claire we’re good-
It was done as a duet style which was awesome.
They played the characters well though they both sounded quite a bit older than I expected from how young these characters were supposed to be.

Very enjoyable
This storyline has a lot in it! The characters are good and strong. I do love a tortured soul and this book has a few. The groundwork is down for a lot of different characters. Excellent performance from both Jenna and Gunnar.

Quinn and Zee!!
Torment is a terrific brother's best friend second chance love story. I liked listening to the narration, you could hear the emotions and passion. They brought the characters Zee and Quinn to life. I liked the banter too. I enjoyed listening to this story, and looking forward to the next one in this series.

Torment a second chance romance
C.M. Seabrook wrote an emotional second chance love story that has many facets. Zee is recovering addict who is bouncing back from rock bottom. Quinn is the girl who always loved him from childhood. I'm not a fan of guys who run away when things get rough, but Zee needed to grow up. The story has some unexpected twists. The ending was wonderful!
The narration on this book was great, but I didn't think they sounded the ages of Quinn and Zee. Gunnar Qualen has a Dennis Quaid like voice, which is very smooth and rich. Jenna St. Claire didn't sound like she was in her early twenties, but she is also really good. The narrators have great chemistry, and express fitting emotions, they just didn't sound like they are in their early twenties. I would definitely listen to more books by this author and narrators.

I loved it!!
I love this bad boy, brother's best friend, coming back to town trope!! Quinn is a great character, she doesn't let her brothers boss her around and she stands her ground when Zee acts like an idiot.
I absolutely love the scene when they meet again after 6 years, that was hilarious!!
I thought the female narrator sounded a little too old for 18yo Quinn, but everything was fine after the 6 year jump.
Can't wait to listen to the next installment in this series!!

Amazing definitely recommend listening.
Wow, I enjoyed the experience of reading this book originally but listening to it on audio books blew me away. The book introduced us to the savage and saints families this book focuses on Quinn and Zee she's been in love with him forever but when he disappears without a goodbye she's hurt. Fast forward 5 years and he's back.
