About this listen
Join the fun in this soapy serial as Will & Patrick's fake marriage turns into true love! Written by best-selling author Leta Blake and newcomer Alice Griffiths!
Episode One: "Will and Patrick Wake Up Married"
After a drunken night of hot sex in Vegas, strangers Will Patterson and Dr. Patrick McCloud wake up married. A quickie divorce is the most obvious way out — unless you’re the heir of a staunchly Catholic mafia boss with a draconian position on the sanctity of marriage. Throw their simmering attraction into the mix and all bets are off!
Episode Two: "Will and Patrick Meet the Family"
Meeting the family is challenging for every new couple. But for Will and Patrick, the awkward family moments only grow more hilarious - and painful - when they must hide the truth of their predicament from the people they care about most. Throw in the sexual tension flaring between them and you've got a recipe for madcap laughs and surprisingly heartwarming feels.
Episode Three: "Will and Patrick Do the Holidays"
A couple’s first holiday season is always a special time. Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Eve are magical when you’re in love. Too bad Will and Patrick’s marriage is a sham and they’re only faking their affection for each other. Or are they? Sparks fly in this episode of the Wake Up Married serial. Will the sexual tension between Will and Patrick finally explode in a needy night of passion? Or will they continue to deny their feelings?
Episode Four: "Will and Patrick Fight Their Feelings"
Will and Patrick have embraced adding hot sexy-times to their fake marriage, but as their emotions deepen, they confront whether or not they want to be more than friends-with-benefits. The heat is high (and occasionally kinky) as Will and Patrick struggle to accept their mutual affection.
Episode Five: "Will and Patrick Meet the Mob"
Patrick has finally accepted that he's in love with Will, but his newfound determination to do something about that runs up against his father-in-law's mobster plans. Will must face the truth about his family before he can fully come to terms with his feelings for Patrick. And Patrick has to decide if this whackadoodle world is something he truly wants to be part of forever.
Episode Six: "Will and Patrick's Happy Ending"
Sure, Will and Patrick are in love now, but they weren’t when they got married in Vegas. For Patrick, that’s no problem, but Will can’t shake his doubts that a relationship started through coercion can ever become the real deal. Since the Molinaro crime family has reversed their position on divorce, Will and Patrick have a chance to rectify their drunken mistake. But is divorce the right choice for them?

Even better on audio!
So I had already read and loved this series, but my rating just went up with the audio. John Solo does such a fantastic job at bringing these characters and their love to light that their story is just that much more amazing. With the audio you can feel the hurt, the laughter, and all the love. It’s one of those stories I’ll be returning to over and over again.

Wow
John Solo outdid himself with this series!!! Will and Patrick was an awesome series to read, but listening to Solo’s performance made the stories even better! The chemistry between the characters is evident, and the story is easy to follow and entertaining. This is truly an outstanding listen and one to enjoy over and over again!

OMG, John Solo's performance is fantastic!
I have heard so many good things about the Will and Patrick series, and it's been on my TBR list for quite a while. When it finally came out as an audiobook, I couldn't wait any longer to read it.
I think this is one of those stories that I might not have liked nearly as much if I'd read it. The writing and story are great but I just don't think I would have heard the individual characters as distinctly in my own mind as I did while listening to John's performance. And it truly is a performance. Each character has a distinct voice and the way he conveys the depth of emotion that each of them feels is just amazing.
I'm not going to restate the book's blurb. It does lack some information that I think was kind of significant but I'm afraid it would be too much of a spoiler to reveal it, which is probably why it's not in the blurb. 😊 The main thing for me was that I found the story engaging due to the excellent voice acting by John Solo. I can't say enough good things about how much I LOVED his performance of this story. The emotions he conveyed with his voice really allowed me to feel what the characters were feeling.
One of the MC's, Patrick, is not very likeable at all but I was able to ignore (for the most part) how much of a jerk he is. Fortunately, as the story went along, my opinion of him improved. Patrick progressed from being pretty much unlikable in episode one to being my favorite character by the end of episode six. I was sobbing in some places for what his character goes through but there are also light-hearted moments. And the sexy time? OMG what these two guys get up to. They are a bit on the kinky side but nothing too outrageous.
Will is really sweet but he becomes a tiger when dealing with his douchebag of a father – who, by the end, maybe ends up not being as much of a douchebag as I first thought. I love the voice that John does for Will's father.
This is an audiobook that I could see myself listening to again (something I rarely do because I have way too many books on my TBR list). I only have a few super favorite audiobook performers but that short list has now been increased by one.
To wrap up this kind of disjointed review, I would recommend this audiobook for the wonderful performance alone, but it's also a very enjoyable story.
A complimentary copy of this audiobook was provided to me but my review was voluntary and not influenced by the author and/or narrator.

The times of their married live.
This is is nice book, it feels like a soap and the narration brings that even more to the forefront. Patrick is so much fun and sweet with a heart of gold and Will is a sweety as well.

Love, love, loved this!
I was lucky enough to win a copy of this from the author.
I don't usually listen to audiobooks, but after listening to this I definitely will be from now on.
I had already read this series and loved it but John Solo's narration took it to another level, it was fantastic!

Vegas Love Story
This was the best Vegas love story I've ever listened to. I love Will and Patrick. They are complete opposites that have to learn to deal with each other. John's voicing these characters is amazing.

Go for it
It is kinda silly, but all our lives we always had silly stories like this for straight people and, having a gay version of that is just wonderful.

you won't regret it
I read this first in kindle then found when first trying audible. fantastic and have just finished it again. a go too story to make laugh and cry. I identify with both Patrick and Will and often choose books narrated by John Solo as a result of this work.
