Based in Alberta Canada, Alana has been an: English, History, Visual Arts, and Theatre teacher for the past twenty five years. A lover of Science Fiction her entire life, Alana has dedicated her most recent years to teaching: Yoga, mindfulness, Stoicism, and natural medicine courses to her students and local community. Alana has dedicated her books to her late father; who was both a Scientific Engineer and Science fiction fan for many “The Stoic Teacher” published in 2024 blends discussions of Stoic philosophy with Alana’s personal teaching experiences. When not writing or teaching: Alana enjoys: running community groups, water sports, travel, reading, hiking, and yoga.
