I find myself on these pages because I'm the co-author of "The Trusted Advisor Fieldbook" (Wiley 2011). In 2009 I also conceived and edited an anthology of short stories called "Hear Us Roar! 28 Stories of Everyday Women Leading Extraordinary Lives" (self-published). I'm part of the leadership team of Trusted Advisor Associates and am also the founder and President of BossaNova Consulting Group. I've been in and around the consulting industry for 20 years. Today, my career is dedicated to helping consultants, salespeople, and leaders walk the talk of a trusted advisor so all their relationships prosper. I grew up near Washington DC. When I was 17 I thought I was too mature to go to college, so I moved to Paris to live with my grandmother. I came home five months later to pursue my love of theatre, studying dramatic literature at New York University and taking acting classes in the Big Apple. Somehow I ended up in information technology consulting not long after. I got my Masters of Science in Organization Development when I realized I am much better with people than bits and bytes. In 2001, I started my own firm. I'm a mosaic artist, a former competitive ballroom dancer, and a proud step-mom/grandmom.
