Anu Gupta, born in Punjab in India, is an educator, author and social worker, who boasts a stellar academic record with a doctorate in Commerce, along with M.Phil., MBA, M.Com., B.Ed. and DELF B2. She has earlier co-authored few books in the field of Commerce and having contributed to Commerce and French teaching, in her latest endeavor, she ventures into the world of fiction with her debut novel, "Secret Friends ...When love is the best kept secret". Wife of a bureaucrat (Indian Defence Accounts Service IDAS officer) and a mother of two, Dr. Anu Gupta learnt French language out of her passion and through this fictional narrative of love, she artfully shares her experiences of mastering French, and throws light into the army life, and the life of IAS officers. Her outstanding contributions to promoting Hindi language learning through French language across the globe have garnered her numerous accolades and appreciation letters from governmental and non-governmental organizations alike.
