Becci Murray is a children's author who is not a celebrity. She has never been on the telly, she's not in a band and she has no plans to marry a prince (not yet anyway). Quite why she thinks a nonentity like her can write children's books is anyone's guess, but she's giving it a go so good for her. Becci has written many stories for young readers, some of which aren't too bad. Her series of 'Granny's Blunders' picture books is secretly based on her mother-in-law, and her 'Unicorn Island' early chapter book series was created because her ex-partner doesn't like unicorns. Becci is also the mother of a teenage girl who was thrilled to have a unicorn named after her.
